We are delighted to welcome the yoga teachers who will honour us with their presence and knowledge during the second edition of the Siracusa Yoga Festival. They come from Chile, France, Germany and Italy and offer a wide range of disciplines. Each class will be translated into at least one other language to ensure that all participants can benefit from their extensive experience.
Each teacher will lead at least one session per day. Our festival is organised and should be approached as a mini retreat.
Antonio Bazano knows Yoga in 92. Since then, the desire to discover the true meaning of this ancient discipline leads him to visit centers, communities and ashrams in Italy and worldwide . Passionate about all “styles”, he proposes a “Vinyasa Flow” approach, combined with techniques of pranayama, affirmations and mantras.
Yoga represents the MIRACLE…that “instrument” that, at any moment of your life, reconnects you to your true Self.
With PURAVIDA, he organizes teacher training courses, workshops, seminars and yoga holidays, in collaboration with national and international teachers. He believes in confrontation and sharing and aims to involve thousands of new Yogis in the next ten years.
Born in Modica in 1982, she meets yoga in 2014.
For years she practiced as a student with the master Antonio Bazano, until she decided to undertake the training path, obtaining the diploma of yoga instructor of 2nd level and then the certificate of qualification Yoga Teacher lasting 500 hours, issued by ACSI.
He begins to teach shortly after completing this training.
His style is a Vinyasa Flow Yoga, which is based on the synchronization of movement and breathing: moving in harmony inside and outside the asanas to the rhythm of your breath and heartbeat.
Since 2017 she has been working with PURAVIDA YOGA&PILATES, a project that integrates Yoga&Pilates activities to improve the quality of life.
Jacopo is the director of the Samadhi Anukalana Yoga Teacher Training School in Italy. In ’94 Jacopo become a Yoga Teacher under the guidance of a group of Indian Tantrik Monks. Following his passion for study, practice and research, he founded the Anukalana Approach to Yoga where Integration is the process for developing advanced principles for the practice of Asana, Pranayama and Meditation. By bringing acro yoga to many schools around Italy, he wanted to prove that playfulness and joy are powerful tools to improve learning capacity. Jacopo is well known in Italy for his fun based teaching style and he cooperates with Yoga Journal Italia for articles on Anukalana Yoga, Meditation and AcroYoga.
I am Vincenzo Citto, my Sanskrit name is VINAYAKA and I was assigned by the monks I was lucky enough to meet on the way who guide me in meditation and are my masters in Tantra Yoga. Thanks to Yoga I found the healthy and rich direction to give to my existence and now I find myself walking this bright path towards awareness, without effort and without renunciation but with fullness, serene acceptance and love for life.
Yuji Cristaldi started practicing yoga in 1994, and for years he attended training courses for yoga teachers and taught yoga in Italy and Germany until he discovered the Iyengar® Yoga method in India. He was trained in Florence by Gabriella Giubilaro, and studied with David Meloni, Paola Porta Casucci and Emilia Pagani. He obtained the Intermediate Junior III diploma in 2013, until now the highest teaching certificate ever issued in Italy, and is a teacher trainer. For pleasure, he teaches anatomy at teacher training courses. He constantly follows refresher courses in Italy and India, at the Ramamani Iyengar Memorial Yoga Institute (RIMYI). He was vice president of LOY Light On Yoga Italy from 2010 until 2014.

Graduated in Pilates 2014 (diploma recognized by CONI). In the same year she meets Yoga, which changes her life and becomes her passion. She sees yoga as “as wonderful as boundless world” with assiduous practice combined with constant study.

She collaborates with “PURAVIDA YOGA&PILATES” of the master Antonio Bazano, one of the most followed realities of Sicily.In recent months Yoga is her weapon against a tumor that she is facing with extraordinary serenity and energy and that has made her want to start a project to publicize as much as possible how this magical discipline is an extraordinarily valid and effective tool.
She comes to yoga through classical and contemporary dance and social theatre experiences, thanks to which she realizes how movement affects the mind and the soul state.
She is trained as a Kundalini Yoga instructor according to the teachings of Yogi Bhajan at the Shunia Center in Barcelona.
She is a certified instructor of yoga for children according to the Childplay method, developed by Gurudass Kaur, and of prenatal yoga, Conscious Pregnancy method. She is a member of the International Association of Kundalini Yoga Teachers (IKYTA) and IKYTA Italy.
She currently lives and works in Catania, where she created the Kundalini Home Center in 2014.
As an authorized Ashtanga yoga KPJAYI Authorized teacher, Cyril has a communicative energy that supports and motivates. He followed Caroline Boulinguez EFAY’s training over 3 years, studying the anatomy of movement and the respiratory system of Blandine Calais-Germain. He also participates in several courses on Yoga Nidra (the sleep of the yogi) and receives from Swami Yogabhakti “Micheline Flak” (Satyanadashram Bihar School) the teaching certificate. In 2012, he decided to study at the source of teaching at KPJAYI in Mysore, the founding school of ashtanga, with Sharath Jois, grandson of Sri K. Patthabi Jois. The ashtanga is a dive into the interior of the being, to discover depths unexplored by ourselves, in search of fluid and light qualities, working strength and flexibility in physical and mental harmony.
He continues his journey by travelling to meet and study each year with teachers from Parampara. In 2018 after several trips and months of studying at the KPJAYI in Mysore with Sharath Jois, he received from him the authorization (blessing) to teach “Authorized level 1”, (one of the few accredited teachers in France). Devoting a deep gratitude to all his masters, , he becomes a passer of the world when he teaches ashtanga, perpetuating this living tradition as he received it in Mysore. Lamia Barbara, Member of the CID Unesco (International Dance Council), is an international dancer, teacher and yogini, globetrotter writer based in Palermo, Italy. Lamia’s vision of dance aims to combine solid practice with deep expressiveness. Her many studies include Middle Eastern dances, contemporary dance, Butoh dance-theatre and Aikido. The continuous dedication that Lamia has applied over the years to the study of Yoga is the red thread that connects these forms of art in her practice.
He completed his studies at the Conservatory of Vicenza with honors cum laude, degree in dance Bharata Natyam, under the direction of his teacher Nuria Sala Grau. In addition to the intense study of dance, her academic training includes the practical study of classical Indian singing and percussion, and the theoretical study of the history of music, indology, Sanskrit language, ethnomusicology and much more. Lamia travels to India, where she goes annually to continue her training in dance, practice and philosophy of Yoga.
Lamia’s holistic approach to dance explores the history, philosophy, theory and technique of dance and music with particular emphasis on the ethics of experimental fusion dances. Lamia’s style of teaching and performance skillfully blends oriental and western elements, tradition and contemporary expressiveness, in search of that sacredness of the body that belongs to every dance.
Benoît has been practising yoga for more than 15 years and has taught mostly Vinyasa for ten of those. He began practising and learning at the side of Gérard Arnaud at the beginning of the nineties. Influenced by the teachings of Peter Goss and Simon Park, his courses are precise, dynamic and engaging, while remaining fluid.
Certified Vinyasa Yoga Teacher trained by Elise Le Goff, she has been practicing yoga since 2005, including 10 years of following yoga according to the B.K.S. Iyengar method in Paris. She is also trained in Vinyasa Flow and Yinyasa with Mathieu Boldron. She is integrating more and more Yin into her personal practice and teaching. She teaches fun, dynamic and intelligent yoga.
Christophe MILLET has been offering holistic and integral yoga for the past twenty years. He devotes his life and research to the study of yoga.Also a musician, he is accompanied by a harmonium for singing. He is the director of the “Ecole du Souffle” in La Rochelle, where he welcomes his students and renowned teachers throughout the year. He has been taught by Gérard Arnaud, Simon Borg Olivier, David Swenson, Sajeehan Harakkal Manoharan. His major influence remains that of Dharma Mittra.
The yoga teaching offered by Cyril Moreau reflects his background from various yoga schools but also from encounters with other yoga masters and teachers in France, India and other foreign countries. Trained and certified Hatha and Vinyasa yoga according to the method of Gérard Arnaud and certification of the complete yoga curriculum, Abdology, perineum, prenatal and post-natal according to the method of Dr. Bernadette de Gasquet. Cyril Moreau’s teaching is aimed at all audiences, including people who have been traumatized for 7 years. Carla Nataloni is a teacher of Hatha Yoga Sivananda. She was trained in India where she attended courses in ayurveda, Vipassana meditation, meetings with Masters of different traditions and retreats with Master Mansoor. He has obtained the diplomas of: Yoga on the chair, Yoga for Children, Tai Massage and Yoga. She is a teacher of Hormone Yoga for Menopause, Anti-Stress Yoga and Male Hormones and Diabetes Yoga certified by Dinah Rodrigues. He organizes also residential retreats in Puglia, in the valley of the trulli for foreigners (Italian, English and French).
Francesca vit et travaille à Syracuse comme artiste (peintre, graphiste et illustratrice) et professeur de yoga et de danses sacrées. Dans son projet Atelier Love Project, elle poursuit ses passions. Pour Francesca, l’Art et le Yoga sont des canaux entre le monde manifeste et l’Univers, ils sont une étreinte entre le Ciel et la Terre ; l’Artiste avec son “projet d’Amour” rappelle à l’homme qu’il existe une Energie Universelle qu’il peut contacter en écoutant sa propre Essence et en se rappelant lui-même.
